MERITS RULES 1 . Entrance   fee   –   No   cost.   Entrants   must   have   represented   a   member   club   of   the   NSPCSL   during   the   2017/18 season.   Closing   date   will   be   Monday   13 th   November   2017.   Draw   for   the   first   round   will   be   made   on   the Tuesday 14 th November 2017. 2 . Matches   to   be   arranged   between   players.   The   number   of   frames   to   constitute   a   match   will   be   decided   between the players. The “home player” (player drawn first) will be decide the venue for the match. 3 . Semi-final   matches   will   be   two   legged.   The   number   of   frames   to   constitute   a   match   will   be   decided   between the   players.   The   “home   player”   will   decide   the   venue   for   the   first   leg.   The   “away   player”   will   decide   the   venue for the second leg. 4 . Finals   will   be   played   at   a   neutral   venue   and   will   be   the   best   of   5   frames   unless   otherwise   agreed   by   the League Secretary and host of that final. 5 . Matches   must   be   played   by   the   specified   closing   date   unless   otherwise   agreed   by   the   League   Secretary.   It   will be   the   responsibility   of   all   players   to   try   and   organise   the   match.   Failure   to   complete   a   match   by   the   closing date will result in all players from that match being removed from the knockout. 6 . WPBSA   rules   apply   with   the   exception   of   Section   3.14   (Foul   and   a   Miss)   unless   agreed   otherwise   by   players involved   in   the   match.   Snooker   rules   are   now   available   on   the   World   Snooker   website.   They   can   also   be downloaded or purchased from this site. 7 . All   individual   club   rules   i.e.   age,   dress   etc.,   will   apply   to   visitors,   if   in   doubt   check   with   the   club   or   the   League Secretary   before   visiting.   Any   individual   in   dispute   with   any   club   in   the   league   should   settle   the   dispute   before visiting.
